不同碳链长度和结构的饱和脂肪酸所产生的生物学反应都有所不同,许多研究结果也一致表明,极长链脂肪酸(VLSFA)能显著降低糖尿病及各种代谢综合症的风险,所以建议大家可以在日常饮食当中合理搭配食用。

饱和脂肪酸(SFA)虽是中性的脂肪酸,但不同碳链长度和结构的SFA与其摄入量都会对身体带来不同的影响。
比方说,较高的偶数长碳链SFA摄入量反映出较高的糖化血红蛋白和空腹血糖水平;反之,较高的奇数长碳链SFA与VLSFA摄入量却能降低各种代谢综合症的风险,包括可降低2型糖尿病的发病率。

所以,并不是所有的饱和脂肪酸都对身体是有害的。最重要的是必须正确选择饱和脂肪酸的种类(不同碳链长度和结构)及其摄入量的控制。所谓病从口入,健康合理的饮食始终是确保身体健康的必要条件。
